SBV uses the HandPunch series of biometric time clocks from Schlage. The HandPunch is the world’s most widely deployed biometric time clock. It eliminates buddy punching through verifying an employee by the unique shape of their hand, without the use of invasive or expensive technologies.
Using the HandPunch also eliminates the cost of time cards and badges. There are many models of HandPunches available, so even the smallest facility or remote location can afford to experience the cost savings of HandPunch biometric technology.
The software fully supports:
- HP1000, HP2000, HP3000, HP4000 and the first generation HP-RS models
- Support serial (RS232/RS485), modem and ethernet communications (preferred communication option)
- Employee name, schedule based restrictions (HP4000)
Comes standard with a fixed employee capacity of 512 that is sufficient for most locations including the average sized long term care facility. Larger facilities can be accommodated by having multiple units with the employees assigned to use only specific HandPunches, giving you the advantage of having the employee punch closer to their work area or floor.
Comes standard with an employee capacity of 512 and can be upgraded to 32,512 employees for use in larger facilities, where employees need to punch at all HandPunches at all times. If you require secured employee access for entrances or night time access, then the HandPunch 3000 can accommodate a door release relay. It can also be installed outdoors with the Hurricane outdoor enclosure. If the HandPunch is to be used in low, outdoors temperatures, then the heater unit will keep the HandPunch fully operational in sub-zero temperatures.
Comes standard with an employee capacity of 530 and can be upgraded to 3,498 employees. The HandPunch 4000 dedicates more storage capacity for each employee, which allows for the display of the employee’s name, employee messaging, customized lookup information, and individual schedule information to support time zone restrictions on punching.
